BeanBagBlitz.com is Proud to Participate Again
in the "O At Home" Good Works Makeover!

In Fall of 2007, we were asked again to participate in Oprah's O At Home Good Works Makeover and we jumped at the chance!

We able to be a part of the renovation of Safe Space. The 88-year-old Manhattan nonprofit provides at-risk youth everything from mental health care to prenatal counseling. On any given day 30 at-risk kids stop by the warm, inviting, cozy new space. The transformation can be seen in the Fall 2007 issue. To find out more information on Safe Space Click HERE

The best description of this Good Works Makeover challenge—turning a boxy, characterless office into a kid-friendly activity room—resides in the recipient organization's motto. "Bringing Sunshine to a Cloudy Day" is the tagline of Project Sunshine, a volunteer-driven program that provides support to children with medical issues ranging from broken legs to terminal illness. Above right, Designer Elaine Griffin and a pint-sized portion of Project Sunshine's 5,000 volunteers settle into chairs from Bean Bag Blitz! The article can be seen in the Holiday 2005 issue.
